WORRY

'Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

‘And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labour or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendour was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you – you of little faith?

So do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?” For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Worry is crippling Worry paralysing the thought system Worry gradually affects internal organs Worry causes psychosomatic illnesses till they translate to organic Worry blocks creative thinking and our spiritual ears from hearing from God Worry is an age old tool of depressing progress and prosperity Worry is fear and faith in the adversary FAITH is belief in God's power, his ability and his unflinching love. With practice and help of the Holy Spirit we would learn to worry less and get to a point where we become above worry.

Thank you Pastor for this reminder of God's word. I don't know how we just switch into worry mode spontaneously, instead of thinking rationally on how to resolve the problem and pray for divine insight and mercy!! This human mind sha!

I love how all you simply do is post scriptures sometimes. This is a reminder that all we need to live life in full is in scripture. Over the years I have learnt to live my life with this scripture in mind through tough times and the results has been that of being able keep my joy, health and peace. Like you always say "keep your joy". Thank you once again for sharing.

Our times are in the hands of the Lord. He is the Excellent Father. He loves us. Trusting in Gods love is doing away with fear and worry. We choose to let tomorrow do the worrying, while we relax in the love of God. Thank you Pastor for that encouraging word.
